Canada’s Toughest Flat Roof.

24/7 FLAT ROOF LEAK REPAIR AND NEW FLAT ROOF INSTALLATIONS

Flat Roofing

For over 150 years, hot asphalt roof systems or Built Up Roof Systems (BUR) have been used to keep the elements out of buildings with flat and low sloped roofs. BUR Systems use several layers of hot asphalt and a reinforcing material, including a pea gravel sunscreen. This reliable and long lasting roof system, when installed correctly, has the longest service life of any flat roofing system on the market today. Some BUR Systems have lasted as long as 50 years.

Multi-Layer Protection

Single-ply and Torch On roof systems do not stand up to our harsh Canadian winters because these systems are thin and seamed. Mother Nature finds it easy to infiltrate buildings that have a thin seamed roof. The hot asphalt roofing system solves this by using a thick, puncture resistant, multi-layered barrier to stop water infiltration.

A Family Tradition

Our hot asphalt flat roofing techniques were perfected over 4 generations, since 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Four generations of flat roofing in Canada has taught us what works in flat roofing and what doesn't. After seeing massive failures from all of the new flat roofing systems, our hot asphalt system was born. Our hot asphalt roofing system takes all of good components out of the most trusted flat roof system ( BUR ) and makes them stronger and longer lasting. That is why building owners that have tried the newer and inferior roof systems always come back to the trustworthy BUR hot asphalt flat roofing system.

A thermal scan of your flat roof is a non-evasive diagnostic tool that will pinpoint problem areas by localizing areas to be repaired, often saving you thousands of dollars in unnecessary costs.

Everything emits heat energy in a portion of the energy spectrum, this energy is invisible to the human eye. Thermal imagers or thermal cameras can not only record this heat energy, but can also accurately measure the temperature variations of building materials. These variations could indicate problems in the building’s roof system.

Thermal imaging or “thermography” is a technique in which, a thermal gun is used to photograph and measure temperature variations in residential, industrial and commercial roofs.

Utilizing the latest technology out of Germany through the use of TROTEC Thermal Cameras, we can provide you with an extremely accurate scan and report of underlying wet or damaged roof insulation.

Thermal scans would normally cost you $1500 to $10k for larger roofs. We provide this service free to all customers.
